Condiciones de suscripción
Effective date: 2026-10-02 Version: 2026-10-02
These Subscription Terms describe how the Chord Collect Premium subscription works, including billing, cancellation, refunds, and what happens to your content if you downgrade. They supplement the Terms of Service §3.
1. What Premium includes
Premium removes the free-plan limits on library songs and playlists, adds PDF and image-based songs, enables bulk archive import, Band Mode, offline access, and expanded storage (currently up to 2 GiB of uploaded media), removes advertising, and increases your monthly Scan Chord Sheet quota. Current plan details and prices are shown in the app and on our website before you subscribe.
2. Purchasing and payment
Premium is sold exclusively as an auto-renewing in-app subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using the payment method on file with your Apple ID or Google account. We do not process your card details and cannot see or store them.
3. Auto-renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your payment method will be charged for renewal through the app store you subscribed with.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings or the Google Play subscriptions page. Cancellation must go through the store you subscribed with, because that is where the billing relationship exists. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies and procedures, not by us directly. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for purchases made through the app stores.
Withdrawal right (EU/EEA and Türkiye consumers): if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. For digital subscriptions, this right ends early if you expressly request that the subscription begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once performance has started. That is what happens when you complete an in-app purchase and gain immediate access to Premium features. If you are a consumer in Türkiye, the Distance Contracts Regulation issued under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 also provides a 14-day right of withdrawal as a rule. However, the same Regulation excludes contracts for services performed instantly in electronic form and for intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer. Because Premium is activated the moment you complete the purchase, it falls within that exception. If you did not expressly acknowledge this, or your local law preserves a withdrawal right despite immediate performance, contact the app store you purchased through, as they process the transaction and the refund.
6. Price changes
We may change subscription prices for future billing periods. Where required by law, we will give you advance notice before a price change takes effect. Continued renewal after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price, subject to your right to cancel beforehand.
7. Downgrading and what happens to your content
If your subscription ends, whether by cancellation, non-renewal, or a failed payment, your account moves to the free plan. We do not delete your content because your plan changed. Everything you created stays in your account.
Content above the free-plan limits is locked. The library songs you opened most recently and the playlists you updated most recently stay available, up to the free-plan limits in §8. Your other songs and playlists remain in your library, but they cannot be opened while they are locked. PDF and image-based songs are a Premium feature, so they are locked on the free plan and do not count toward the library song limit.
Locked content unlocks as soon as you resubscribe.
8. Free plan limits
The free plan currently includes up to 15 library songs, 2 playlists, no media (PDF/image) songs, and a lifetime allowance of 3 Scan Chord Sheet pages. These limits may change; the current limits are always shown in the app.
9. Subscriptions granted outside the app stores
In limited cases (for example, migrated legacy purchases or customer-support resolutions), we may grant Premium access directly rather than through an app-store subscription. Such grants are not billed on a recurring basis unless stated otherwise, and are managed by us rather than through your app store subscription settings. Some grants are lifetime grants that do not expire and do not need to be renewed, so §7 does not apply to them; where a grant is a lifetime grant, we will tell you so at the time it is given.
