Política de cookies
Effective date: 2026-09-11 Version: 2026-09-11
This Cookie Policy explains how our website (chordcollect.com) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how the Chord Collect mobile app uses comparable device identifiers. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage or mobile SDK identifiers) serve comparable purposes on devices and in apps.
2. Cookies used on our website
| Type | Purpose | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeping you signed in, remembering your language preference, security (CSRF protection, load balancing) | No. These cookies cannot be disabled and are not used for tracking |
| Preference | Remembering non-essential display settings you choose on the marketing site | Where required by local law |
| Analytics / advertising | We do not currently set analytics or advertising cookies on the marketing website | Not applicable |
Our website already shows a cookie notice that lets you choose between accepting all cookies and allowing only the strictly necessary ones. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. Because we set no non-essential cookies today, that choice currently changes nothing about what is stored on your device. If this changes, for example because we add cookies for website analytics or for advertising, we will update this Policy, and in line with applicable law (including the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR) any non-essential cookie will be set only if you have accepted it.
3. Mobile and desktop app: identifiers instead of cookies
The Chord Collect app does not use browser cookies. It uses:
- A device identifier we generate to link product-analytics events to a device when you are not signed in (see Privacy Policy §1, "Behavioral / product analytics")
- A mobile advertising identifier, used by Google AdMob to serve ads to free-plan accounts and to measure ad performance. You can reset or limit this identifier through your device's operating system settings (for example, Android's "Delete advertising ID" or iOS's App Tracking Transparency controls, where applicable)
- A push notification token, used by Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications you have enabled
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of our website may not work correctly. For example, you may not be able to stay signed in.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our use of cookies and similar technologies changes. We will post the new version here with an updated effective date.
